We Help Buyers

In the Colorado Market, Buyers Need Representation, Too

As with a successful sale, you can leverage the success and timeliness of buying a home by using a Realtor. A common conception is that you save money by doing it yourself. The buyer, however, does not pay a commission to his or her agent.

Take advantage of our professional insight for each of your home purchases. The Haas Team makes the process easy. We do the work and leave you to have the fun of choosing your next great home. Here are a few steps to get you started.

  • Choose your mortgage lender. One of the first steps is to choose a lender that can help you determine the price range you can afford. Choose a lender based on recommendations from a variety of sources, including family, friends and our preferred list.

  • Become preapproved for a mortgage. Once you have chosen a lender, become preapproved for a mortgage before you begin looking for a home. Gather necessary documentation, including pay stubs, W-2 forms, bank statements, debt statements and federal tax returns from the last two years. At this point you will also work with your lender to study and make any improvements, as necessary, to your credit reports.

  • Look for your new home. Once you are preapproved with your lender, The Haas Team begins looking for your new home. We will talk with you about where you want to live based on your needs for convenience, schools and other necessities. We also will give you a free Pierson's Guide to make getting around town a snap.

  • Rely on our knowledge. Once we find the home you want to buy, we'll determine how long the home has been on the market and whether there is room to negotiate a price. We will discuss specific terms of the contract, such as price, financing, inclusions/exclusions, and possession date. Before you know it, we'll be ready to submit our offer!
