Tammy Bray: “The Adventure Along the Way Has Been Discovering Real Estate Is What I Absolutely Love”

Tammy Bray is a Colorado native who grew up in Arvada where she attended junior high and high school with Lisa Haas Welch. Even then it seemed they were destined to remain friends for life.

Venturing to Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, Tammy came to appreciate the Southwest and the outdoors. After earning a bachelor’s degree in communications, she moved back to Denver where she was roommates with Lisa. The two of them worked for the same software company for a couple of years when Lisa decided to join her family in real estate. It wasn’t long before Tammy followed in her footsteps, learning real estate from her best friend and second family.

Tammy was in the business for just a few months when she met her husband, Ryan Bray, who is also in the business.  Ryan owns his own Mortgage company and it has proven to be a great partnership, in 2006 they had their son, Kenji. "Real Estate has allowed me to work and to raise my son, what more could I ever ask for."

She tells anyone who’s on the fence about making a major life decision, such as changing careers or looking for a new home, “You can do it. It’s worth it; just be happy. It sounds so easy and so clichéd to say, ‘I want to do something I love and to be happy,’ but isn’t that what life’s about?”
