The Haas Team supports the American Cancer Society by organizing volunteers, sponsoring Relay for Life, serving on boards, and, with our group of family and friends known as the Denver Treadburners, running marathons. It is our way of giving our time and active input and raising the funds needed to find a cure.

In Colorado, the death rate for breast cancer decreased by 23 percent over approximately the last 10 years. All the same, in 2002, almost 2,500 new cases of invasive breast cancer were expected to occur. So while we celebrate the decrease in mortality, according to the American Cancer Society, cancer remains “a major public health problem in Colorado.”
